PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas while verifying credentials, controlling access, and reporting security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues. Carry authorized firearm and/or protective equipment in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards while maintaining professional presence and readiness for assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card or license. Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience. Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
