Job Description
Twic Certified Security Officer - Sasol Description General Requirements -
Sasol Security Personnel:
Minimum of 2 years of security experience required, preferably in industrial, petrochemical, or LNG environments. Ability to stand, walk, and conduct foot patrols for extended periods across large industrial sites. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on site operations and client needs. Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening in accordance with site and client requirements. Must be in good standing with the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners. Must possess a valid driver's license, current insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from site. Ability to follow all Sasol site safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with client personnel, contractors, and visitors.Job Summary:
This position is under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers and visitors to assigned sites.Job Duties :
1. Protect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors. 2. Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances. 3. Prepare reports on a daily basis as trained and turn them into the proper contacts. 4. Complete patrols as required by post orders 5. Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders. 6. Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders. 7. Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.Additional Responsibilities:
