Security Officer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the well-being of all individuals on the premises. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe activities and identify potential security threats. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Manage conflicts with professionalism and de-escalate situations as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of property to prevent loss and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide first aid or CPR assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site. Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is Required. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies. • 2pm pm and Saturday 6:30 am
• 10am Overtime is available.
