31 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training As a Security Officer Zone Patrol in East Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring a reliable, agile, and innovative approach while working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entry points, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify appropriate credentials and/or visitor information, and document deliveries, pickups, and other site activity in accordance with post instructions. Observe and report suspicious behavior, damaged equipment, unsecured doors, lighting issues, and/or other security-related concerns while maintaining detailed and accurate activity records.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
