SECURITY SITE SUPERVISOR
Greater Chicopee Area, MA Full-Time | Monday - Friday | Day Shift Salary:
$44,000 Annually Job Summary A well-established and growing security services organization is seeking an experienced and motivated Security Site Supervisor to oversee security 24/7 operations at a client location in the Greater Chicopee Area; providing excellent training & re-training, continuous supportive feedback & redirection, open communications with the team & client, and being deliberately impactful and influential upon the performance of each member of the team. This true leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, supervising daily security operations, maintaining top quality & compliance with site procedures, and serving as the primary point of contact for security-related matters. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of leading by example constructive partnership with each team member in this fast-paced environment, continuously identifying opportunities for performance improvement and excellence without hesitation or delay. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support daily security operations while ensuring adherence to company and client policies, procedures, protocols and expectations. Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity and maintain a safe environment. Conduct routine patrols to deter and detect theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. Oversee access control procedures, verifying visitors, contractors, and employees entering the facility, maintaining thorough, accurate and legible Gate Logs. Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns. Investigate and document incidents, preparing detailed reports maintaining accurate records, and communicating timely, clearly and accurately with the appropriate parties. Address and de-escalate conflict situations professionally while ensuring the safety of all involved parties. Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and site and client corporate management when necessary. Ensure all security personnel maintain professional uniformed appearance, conduct and compliance with site procedures. Maintain daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation. Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of security experience required. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. A true understanding of the value of proper & thorough training and continuous support of performance excellence, and the clear ability & eagerness to implement same. Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, access control procedures, and loss prevention practices. Excellent conflict resolution and de-escalation skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive during emergencies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of situational awareness. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
