Full Time Security Officer Location:

Danvers, MA Schedule:

Friday-Tuesday, 3pm-11pm

Pay Rate:

$19.00/hour Securitas Security Services is seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our retail location. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence, deter theft and misconduct, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service while enforcing store policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the retail premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems Deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activities Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms Enforce store policies and safety procedures Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed Write accurate and detailed incident and daily activity reports Coordinate with store management and local law enforcement when necessary Conduct bag checks or access control procedures (as required by site policy) Ensure emergency exits and safety equipment are accessible and functional

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Prior security or retail experience preferred Strong observational and communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Basic knowledge of security systems (CCTV, alarms, etc.) Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
