AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify potential concerns, report hazards, and support security-related operations. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help control access, observe visitor activity, and follow post orders related to restricted or sensitive spaces. Complete routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation, and relay important information during shift changes to support continuity of security-related duties.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
