AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify security-related concerns, equipment issues, and/or unauthorized activity. Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials and/or visitor logs, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies. Support daily operations by preparing reports, noting maintenance or hazard-related observations, and reporting security-related incidents, policy concerns, and/or suspicious behavior.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
