In this role, you will serve as the first line of defense, monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, guests, and property. Your proactive presence will help deter potential threats, manage conflicts effectively, and respond swiftly to emergencies. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming atmosphere while utilizing your security expertise. Responsibilities Monitor entrances and exits to authorize authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address security concerns Observe activity through surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to ensure safety Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, applying conflict management skills as needed Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and visitor records Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or theft attempts Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations when necessary, following established protocols Skills Strong understanding of security procedures and conflict management techniques Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in maintaining security standards
