Job Description As a Security Officer Hospital Alarm Patrol in Milton, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing foot traffic, and support a professional presence for patient care areas and other sensitive locations. Assist with handling medical facility related calls for service, support de-escalation when appropriate, and follow post orders for reporting, escalation, and/or emergency notification procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Hospital vaccines are required. Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid are preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
