PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions, hazards, and/or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns. Assist with access control duties by monitoring entry points, verifying authorization when required, and directing patients, visitors, and staff to the proper areas. Support healthcare operations by helping with de-escalation, maintaining a visible presence in high-traffic areas, and documenting incidents and/or daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Hospital vaccinations are required. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
