The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing assistance as needed. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities within the facility. Prepare detailed reports on incidents or suspicious activities observed during shifts. Implement conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed. Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations until professional medical assistance arrives. Requirements Valid security certificate or relevant training in security operations is preferred. Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus. Knowledge of surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Proficient in first aid and CPR certification is advantageous. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. Overtime every week . Hours are Monday -Friday 6:30-2pm and Saturday 6:30-10am, Join our team as a Security Officer where your vigilance will contribute significantly to creating a safe environment for all!
