Position Overview As a SOC Operator (Security Operations Center), you will play a critical role in monitoring security systems, managing incident response, and supporting the overall safety and operational integrity of the site. This position requires strong computer proficiency, analytical thinking, and a solid understanding of physical security operations and cybersecurity awareness. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of making sound decisions during critical situations. Key Responsibilities Security Monitoring:
Continuously monitor surveillance systems, alarm platforms, access control systems, and other security technologies for suspicious activity or operational issues. Incident Response:
Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms while following established escalation procedures. Cybersecurity Awareness:
Recognize and report potential cyber-related threats, phishing attempts, unauthorized system access, or unusual digital activity. Access Control Management:
Monitor badge access systems and verify authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors. Dispatch & Communication:
Coordinate with on-site security personnel, emergency responders, management teams, and law enforcement when necessary. Report Writing:
Maintain accurate and detailed incident logs, daily activity reports, and security documentation. Systems Operations:
Operate and troubleshoot security software, communication systems, and monitoring platforms. Threat Detection:
Analyze security data and surveillance feeds to identify risks, vulnerabilities, or suspicious behavior. Customer Service:
Maintain professional communication while assisting employees, visitors, and client personnel. Policy Enforcement:
Ensure compliance with company procedures, site protocols, and security standards.
