What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of galleries, corridors, offices, loading areas, and perimeter grounds to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or unauthorized access. Monitor access points, assist with visitor directions and building rules, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and/or fire and intrusion alarms, and coordinate response with campus partners and/or public services as needed. Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and/or access logs, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
