AM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and front desk responsibilities at a residential location. Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor information, issue passes or credentials when appropriate, and report unusual or suspicious activity to property management and/or emergency contacts. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established security-related protocols. Answer phones, manage front desk communications, maintain visitor and incident logs, and support security-related documentation and reporting requirements. Help to deter unauthorized access by observing activity at the front desk, controlling entry points, and addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
