Through Late August 2026 Position Overview We are seeking professional, dependable Armed Security Guards for a temporary project assignment in the Annapolis Junction, Maryland area. This position requires individuals who can maintain a secure environment while demonstrating exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, adherence to security protocols and access control. Requirements Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance Current and valid Maryland Security Guard Card Current and valid Maryland Handgun Permit Ability to legally carry and maintain qualification with a firearm Strong communication and observational skills Reliable transportation to and from the work site Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to pass any required background checks and drug screening Responsibilities Maintain a safe and secure environment for personnel, visitors, and property Control access to designated areas and verify credentials Conduct security patrols and monitor assigned locations Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with established procedures Complete accurate reports and maintain detailed logs Enforce site-specific security policies and procedures Compensation $28.00 per hour Part-time schedule Temporary project assignment through late August 2026 How to Apply Qualified candidates who possess a current Security Guard Card and an active Secret Clearance are encouraged to apply.
