In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. Your expertise in security protocols and law enforcement procedures will ensure the safety of all individuals on site. This position offers an opportunity to serve as a frontline protector, utilizing your skills in CCTV monitoring, loss prevention, and first aid to create a safe and secure environment for everyone. Responsibilities Maintain a visible security presence throughout the facility and surrounding grounds. Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and designated access points. Verify authorized access and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Conduct routine patrols and security inspections of the property. Identify, assess, and respond appropriately to suspicious activity, security concerns, or emergencies. Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and facility leadership when necessary. Prepare accurate incident, activity, and observation reports. Enforce established security procedures and safety protocols. Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. Experience Prior experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; training will be provided if necessary. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid Armed Security Guard License (Maryland or applicable state licensing requirements). Current firearms qualification and ability to legally carry a firearm while on duty. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Preferred Qualifications Prior military, law enforcement, executive protection, or armed security experience. Current certification in Active Shooter Response/Active Assailant Response training strongly preferred. CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred. Experience working in houses of worship, schools, government facilities, or other high-security environments. Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
