Armed Guard

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team .The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. The Armed Guard will utilize their skills in surveillance, conflict management, and law enforcement to ensure the safety of individuals and property. Duties Monitor premises through surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect suspicious activities or breaches of security. Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure safety protocols are followed. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Manage conflicts effectively using conflict resolution techniques while maintaining professionalism at all times. Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Requirements Valid Maryland Handgun permit and security guard license is required . Must have own weapon. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment (CCTV). Proficient in conflict management strategies with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
