The Dunbar team is looking for a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time Security Officer. In this role, you will help ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and the property. As a Security Officer, you will:- Deny access to unauthorized individuals and notify management or law enforcement as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections and use surveillance systems to identify potential concerns
- Respond promptly to incidents, conducting emergency services when necessary
- Deter theft, vandalism, and trespassing by enforcing rules and policies
- Digitally create incident and activity reports with detailed observations
- Greet and identify all personnel, contractors, and visitors entering the community
- Support property management with additional safety duties as assigned You will be a great fit if you have the following skills:
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- The ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations
- Clear, respectful communication skills
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors during patrol
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as a part of a team
Scheduling:
- This is a Full-time position averaging 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts when available
