Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, MDPosition Purpose
  • The Security Parking Supervisor Manages the hospital's off-site parking program for the hospital.
As a "Security Parking Supervisor" you will
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the policies, procedures and regulations of Holy Cross Hospital pertaining to vehicle registration, parking, and shuttle service
  • The supervisor is expected to work with and coordinate parking activities with contracted parking attendants in enforcing all parking regulations to ensure accessible parking for all employees, physicians, patients, and visitors
  • Will work with and provide supervision of van drivers who provide shuttle service to and from the hospital and off-site parking lots and the Forest Glen Metro station and ensure reliable service is provided to employees, patients, and visitors in accordance with established schedules
  • Assigned to work day work but must be available to work other shifts as needed to accomplish assigned parking enforcement tasks
  • The position requires above average communication skills and the ability to deal courteously with other hospital employees, physicians, patients, and visitors on a daily basis
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions without bias or discrimination.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license from state of residence
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one-year experience in parking enforcement or related activities, security, or law enforcement
  • Must successfully pass a criminal conviction and motor vehicle background investigation prior to hire
  • Proficient computer and word processing skills
  • Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, lift and manipulate a parking boot weighing approximately 25 pounds.
Preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish as well as English is preferred
Pay Range:
$23.41
  • $35.
14Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
