Responsibilities Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Conduct regular patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and sensitive zones to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Authorize access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by verifying identification and issuing passes as needed. Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by applying conflict management techniques and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Provide first aid and CPR when required, ensuring immediate assistance during medical emergencies. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping. Enforce loss prevention measures by observing and intervening in suspicious behaviors that could lead to theft or damage. Assist in training new security personnel on protocols related to surveillance operations, conflict resolution, and emergency procedures. Experience Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement is highly desirable. Familiarity with CCTV operation, surveillance systems, and loss prevention strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held. Background in military service or law enforcement provides valuable skills in conflict management and emergency response. Strong understanding of security protocols, conflict resolution techniques, and emergency procedures. Ability to remain alert for extended periods while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
