Part-Time Position Overview Lange Investigation & Consulting Service LLC is seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to provide safety and security services at a HUD housing apartment community. This position requires a high level of vigilance, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to enforce policies while maintaining a respectful presence with residents and visitors. Security Officers will play a critical role in maintaining a safe living environment by monitoring access, conducting patrols, and documenting all relevant activity. Key Responsibilities Control building access by verifying visitor identification Maintain a visitor log , documenting all guests and the residents they are visiting Conduct routine patrols of stairwells, hallways, and common areas Ensure all exit doors are secured and functioning properly Monitor property for suspicious or unusual behavior involving residents, guests, or unauthorized individuals Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or policy violations Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs Enforce all property rules, client policies, and applicable laws Maintain a professional and visible security presence at all times Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Prior security experience preferred (especially in residential or HUD housing environments) Strong observation and report-writing skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods Reliable transportation required Requirements Must possess a valid driver's license Must pass a background check Must be able to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Must comply with company uniform and appearance standards Work Environment Residential apartment complex setting Regular interaction with residents, visitors, and property management Both indoor and outdoor patrol duties Why Join Us?
