Security Officer

Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all individuals on site while upholding company policies and procedures. Duties Responsible for completing daily assignments as directed by the security director or mall manager. These assignments include hourly inspections of the interior and exterior of the facility, ensuring that secured areas remain secured, watching for suspicious or criminal activity. Welcoming guests with a friendly face as a representative of our company. Assisting guests and tenants with questions or complaints Handling all calls and situations with professionalism. Completing incident reports as required for incidents that occur. Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of the security director, mall manager or supervisor on site. Qualifications Must be able to read, write, and communicate the English language. Familiar with Microsoft Word and Outlook Email Must have strong listening and communication skills Must be able to follow directions Must be able to climb stairs, stand or walk for long periods of time Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle (valid Drivers license is required)
