Position:
We are looking for a night shift Safety & Security Officer to join our team at Treetops Resort! The Treetops Resort Safety and Security team maintains 24-hour, 7 day a week coverage across all Resort properties to ensure all employees and guests are safe and secure. The specific candidate we are looking for will be available to work 12-hour shifts and must be confident in working independently once trained.
Responsibilities:
Engage guests and employees with professionalism, courtesy and friendliness. Respond and manage emergent and non-emergent situations on Treetops property. Write reports documenting any incidents or accidents. Provide first aid to a guest or employee in case of injury, until EMS arrives. Conduct vehicle and foot patrols to ensure safety and security for all guests. Accurately complete daily logs, incident reports and tracking documents. Assist with Lost and Found operations. Assist with routine safety checks re: fire extinguishers, emergency lights, etc. More duties as required
Requirements:
Valid driver's license to allow for driving of company vehicle. Michigan MFR license (preferred but not required) Current CPR/First Aid certification (onsite training available) Must be at least 21 years of age or older. Able to work outside in various weather conditions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
