Full-time Purpose Statement:
Supervision of student and staff security as well as perform tasks that are related to the safety and security of the total school program and any other duties as deemed necessary by the principals and teachers (as assigned) in the building.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
(Could include but does not include all tasks employee may be expected to perform.)  Ensure hallways, locker rooms, and restrooms are secured and supervised as needed.  Supervise cafeteria during lunch hours.  Monitor via security cameras and video.  Manage detention room operations when detention staff is absent or on break.  Ensure safety of students at bus drop off and pick up areas before and after school.  Assist with collection of student portfolio materials.  Write detentions and contact parents for improper hallway behavior.
Qualification Requirements:

The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or push up to 50 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and continuously will repeat the same hand, arm or finger motion many times as in typing. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception.)  Ability to walk and stand for most of the day.  Must have the physical ability and strength to restrain students (if needed)  May have to sit for long periods during the day
