Job Summary Special Event season is upon us! Join our special event security team and help protect our community's special events and festivals. This posting is only for special event coverage! You would be required to work our upcoming special events and could be called upon to provide coverage as more events are scheduled. Responsibilities Provide security presence at special events, ensuring safety protocols are followed and crowd control is maintained. Conduct thorough access control checks for attendees, staff, vendors, and contractors to prevent unauthorized entry. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations, conflicts, or property damage, coordinating with emergency responders as needed. Enforce rules and regulations related to event conduct, addressing conflicts with professionalism and conflict management skills. Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs to document all activities and occurrences during your assigned hours. Support loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action according to established procedures. Skills Proven ability in conflict management with a calm, assertive approach during tense situations. First aid certification with CPR training to provide immediate assistance when necessary. Background in law enforcement, military service, or security enhances your ability to handle diverse scenarios confidently. Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies to protect assets and property effectively. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public. Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor.
