In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding property, assets, and people through vigilant observation, proactive security measures, and effective communication. Whether you are providing unarmed security or utilizing your armed skills, your dedication will ensure safety and peace of mind for everyone on site. General Responsibilities Monitor and patrol designated premises to deter unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and other security technology to identify potential threats Control access points by verifying identities of visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established protocols and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes effectively Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly Maintain and exceed client expectations EPG prefers applicants who have: Experience in law enforcement, military service, or prior security work is highly preferred Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques Ability to perform first aid and CPR in emergency situations; additional certifications are a plus Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent observation skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as needed Join us to make a difference by ensuring safety and security in our community's vibrant spaces!
