This position is a first line Safety & Security Shift Supervisor supervising FSAs assigned to the Safety & Security Department. This position is responsible for ensuring that all safety & security policies and procedures are adhered to by staff, patients and visitors on an assigned shift, including buildings and grounds. Also, this position is responsible for coordinating and conducting internal investigations, performance improvement, EOC, Life Safety and Emergency Management functions in accordance with JC, CMS and other regulatory agencies. Experience Three years of experience equivalent to a Forensic Security Assistant including one year equivalent to the Forensic Security Assistant E10. Alternate Education and Experience One year of experience in the supervision of security staff in a law enforcement, correctional, or mental health setting may be substituted for the required experience. Additional Requirements and Information The preferred and appointed candidate will be subject to pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty and follow-up drug and/or alcohol testing.
