AM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, visitor registration, and site-specific front desk policies at a financial services location. Monitor lobby and reception activity, answer questions, direct foot traffic, and report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations at the front desk by following post orders, documenting activity, and communicating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate. Support daily front desk operations by verifying credentials, maintaining accurate logs and reports, and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Have access control and/or badge experience preferred. Have customer service experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
