Full Job Description Business Title:
Security Officer Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Security Officer is to ensure the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and visitors at Patriot Security Enterprises LLC. This role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property. Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering. Monitor and adjust controls that regulate building systems, such as air conditioning, furnace, or boiler.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
Previous experience in security or a related field. Experience in monitoring and patrolling premises to ensure safety and security.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong observational and surveillance skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using security equipment and technology. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
