Location:
Grand Traverse County Courts, Traverse City, MI STT Security Services seeks motivated internal applicants with prior security supervisory experience in a courthouse or similar setting. Strong leadership, positive attitude, ownership, and proficiency in supervisor administrative duties, electronic report writing, access control, and surveillance systems are essential.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and fostering a positive team environment for 8+ officers. Maintaining and implementing security screening protocols. Training and developing team members. Conducting incident investigations and report writing. Completing management reports and daily logs. Managing access control and alarm systems. Responding to alarms and conducting foot patrols. Creating schedules and managing payroll. Facilitating personnel matters with STT HR. Conducting shift briefings. Collaborating with STT Home Office to maintain a positive partnership. Excellent customer service, communication, computer skills, and strong report writing are required. Must manage stressful situations, resolve conflicts, and demonstrate reliability and flexibility (24/7 on call for emergencies).
