Job Description
Job Summary You will be an Unarmed Security Guard, primarily Friday and Saturday nights , working in a campground environment, where your vigilance and dedication will ensure the safety and security of our facilities, staff, and campers. In this role, you will monitor premises conduct regular patrols, and uphold safety protocols to create a secure environment. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will be vital in preventing incidents and responding swiftly when needed. This paid position offers an engaging opportunity to serve your community while developing valuable security expertise. Responsibilities Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the property Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity, escalating issues to law enforcement or emergency services when necessary Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or vandalism attempts Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors professionally and addressing their inquiries courteously Requirements Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and conflict management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable to handle emergency situations effectively Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor Strong communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and basic security protocols Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone feels protected!
