Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Security Supervisor to provide on-site supervision of security guards for protection, patrolling and surveillance monitoring for government-owned EPA research laboratory. Responsibilities Supervise security staff to ensure effective coverage of all security zones, including CCTV monitoring and patrols Coordinate access control procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to maintain a secure environment Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security technology to detect suspicious activity or potential threats Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring CPR or first aid intervention Manage conflict situations with professionalism and resolve disputes through conflict management techniques Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external support Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records to ensure accurate documentation of daily activities and incidents Experience At least one year experience in administration of security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on safety and loss prevention Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and alarm systems Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Familiarity with conflict management strategies and de-escalation techniques Experience in conducting security patrols and loss prevention activities Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion Join us as a Security Supervisor and be part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining a safe environment.
