Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Minneapolis, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access points with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle as part of your responsibilities. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant activity to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and document incidents, disturbances, and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal standards. Support daily property operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
