You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe, and report. Responsibilities are to be Punctual Interior/exterior Greet all personnel Utilize Extraordinary Customer Care (ECC) guidelines, engaging all patients and team members with the utmost professionalism. Maintain a physical presence in the main entrance or parking lot and continually patrol and move throughout the assigned area during the scheduled shift. Be a presence that aids in visually deterring and dispersing loiterers off the premises. Remain alert, pleasant, and approachable throughout your shift. Showing alertness and focus on guests by not leaning on fixtures, display cases, counters, or walls. Report any observations of suspicious activities to management. Skills Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position A trained security officer or ability to be trained Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment (training available) Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols Surveillance skills and detail orientation Integrity and professionalism Criminal Justice Degree (Preferred)
