Weekend Security Guard

Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. This position is Friday and Saturday only. The hours will vary and are dependent on events booked at White Bear Country Inn & Rudy's Redeye Grill. Duties Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary. Report any suspicious activities or incidents to law enforcement when necessary. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques when required. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
