AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access-related concerns and reporting unusual activity. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor screening processes, and/or document security-related events. Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or other conditions that may impact daily operations.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Must meet hospital vaccine requirements. Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
