Job Description

Unarmed Security Officer - Supervisor Job Details Prosegur Security is looking to fill an Unarmed Security Supervisor position that is customer service driven for one of our networks in the St. Joseph MO area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. We are looking for Security professionals that want to grow and develop professionally in our organization.

We're hiring a reliable, experienced Security Supervisor! The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises Answer telephone calls and take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when the switchboard is closed Investigate and prepare reports on incidents Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules Enforce facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff including security guards and desk clerks. Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer property Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs) Supervise for irregular or unusual activity
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent Must have 3 years of security experience Must have 2 years of supervisor security experience Must have open availability to work all shifts and schedules Must have reliable transportation Must have good communication skills Ability to stand or walk for long periods Must be able to walk/run up flights of stairs daily. Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior." License # 1516 #SCR123
