Duties Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring proper identification and authorization. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards. Operate CCTV surveillance systems to monitor activity across the facility and surrounding areas. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Perform security checks, including inspections of property and equipment, to prevent theft or vandalism. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate issues. Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrols, and security breaches for record-keeping and review. Requirements Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies. Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention strategies. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively. Background in military service or security training is a plus. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high levels of attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public.
