Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified
FULL TIME
Unarmed Security Officer to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify and respond to risks to staff and patrons. The location of this post is University City, MO, with the option to pick up other available shifts and posts. This position is for an
UNARMED PLAIN CLOTHES OFFICER
. This is a 2nd shift position of 12:15 pm to 10:15 pm. This post is at a grocery store plaza in a retail setting. Reliable transportation is prefered. Priority will be given to candidates with open availability.
Responsibilities:
Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules Stand at the front door being observant and vigilant Warn violators of premise rules and regulations Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations Maintain high visibility to provide a secure presence Follow directions and uphold professional conduct. ​
Qualifications:
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields is preferred Familiarity with security equipment Ability to handle physical workload, including standing for long periods of time Strong attention to detail Ability to take direction Verbal and written communication skills Weekend availability is
