PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders and applicable guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns. Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and/or authorized entry in accordance with site protocols to help support controlled access operations. Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information with supervisors, local authorities, and/or designated site contacts as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
