PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with access control protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established site procedures when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns, noting that working environments and conditions may vary by site. Support restricted area access procedures, assist with screening and/or badging processes, and help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent application of post orders and client-directed guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
