Job Description

Priority Alert, LLC is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead residential and commercial security system installations & service work. We are looking for a motivated professional with strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. Position Summary The Supervisor serves as a working foreman , providing both hands-on field leadership and operational oversight for residential and commercial system installations. This role actively works alongside installation teams in the field while supervising daily operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards and industry regulations. In addition to leading installation crews, the Supervisor is responsible for project management functions, including job planning, material coordination, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can effectively balance hands-on installation work with team supervision, project coordination, and customer relations while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and professionalism. Work hours are generally Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Start times may vary based on customer installation schedules. Overtime may occasionally be required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install, program, troubleshoot, and service residential and commercial security systems, including: Intrusion systems (DSC, Qolsys, Alarm.com) Video surveillance systems (IP/analog CCTV, NVRs, DVRs) Access control systems (maglocks, strikes, keypads, biometric and card systems) Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation Run, secure, and terminate low-voltage wiring including Cat5e/6, coaxial, and 22/4 cable Mount and configure cameras, motion detectors, door/window sensors, sirens, and related equipment Diagnose and resolve system issues such as signal loss, communication faults, false alarms, and camera failures Perform post-installation testing and system verification Supervise crews of 2-4 Service Technicians on multi-site or large-scale projects Conduct on-site inspections and walkthroughs to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements Resolve customer concerns professionally and in real-time Maintain accurate job documentation, installation paperwork, and customer signoffs Leadership & Communication Competencies Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and situational awareness. Understands group dynamics and can effectively "read the room" to guide conversations and decision-making Exercises sound judgment regarding when to provide direction, when to seek input, and when to listen Maintains professional boundaries while fostering positive relationships with employees, customers, and business partners Communicates with confidence, tact, and professionalism in both routine and challenging situations Resolves conflicts and customer concerns effectively while preserving relationships and maintaining company standards Required Minimum 10+ years of hands-on professional experience installing and servicing alarm, CCTV, access control, and related low-voltage systems Class B License through the State Fire Marshal's Office Valid driver's license with clean driving record Intermediate networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, gateways, and switches Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 60 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 80 lbs Comfortable working on ladders up to 20 feet high Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, and twisting Ability to work in confined spaces, extreme temperatures, humidity, and inclement weather when necessary Compensation and Benefits $60K - $65K Annually Profit Sharing opportunities Company vehicle Laptop & Cell Phone Health Insurance Options (for employee) PTO + Paid Holidays All necessary tools and training provided Why Join Us?
