We are currently seeking serious, qualified, and dependable individuals to join our team as Unarmed Security Officers. At USGA, we value professionalism, reliability, and integrity. POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently recruiting professional and motivated individuals for security positions across multiple shifts at Asheville City Hall and Public Works/ DSD facilities. Opportunities are also available for individuals interested in serving as Community Officers within the City of Asheville Gym and Community Centers. While possessing an Armed Guard License is preferred, comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided. Depending on the post most are Monday-Friday, some are weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide security services at assigned posts. Monitor and patrol premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a professional manner. Monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV systems to detect any suspicious activity Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizing entry Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, documenting all findings Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and visitors with inquiries or concerns Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including incident reports and shift logs Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve security issues Work closely with supervisors and follow company and PPSB guidelines.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Driver license required Clean driving record required Unarmed training required ( it's a 1 day training, and we do provide it )

Preferred Qualifications:
High school or equivalent (Preferred) Proven experience in surveillance and CCTV operations Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and best practices Familiarity with militarized security protocols and procedures
