PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out armed post duties, site-specific procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols and post orders. Support order at the location by maintaining a visible presence, following use of force and de-escalation guidelines, and coordinating with site leadership and/or law enforcement when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess an armed guard card or license. Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
