2:00pm-10:00pm - (24 hrs/wk) starting

• Potential to pick up extra hours and possible overtime
• TEMP to HIRE will be based on numerous factors to include the execution of job tasks and responsibilities, followed by an Individual based Performance Review (after 90 days completion).

Job Summary We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Unarmed Security Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, accountability, strong situational awareness, and the ability to uphold company policies while helping ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, and company property. This position requires vigilance, effective communication skills, and a proactive security mindset. Security Officers are responsible for conducting both roving and static patrols, responding to incidents and emergencies, monitoring for suspicious activity or safety concerns, and maintaining a visible presence to deter threats and promote a safe and secure work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled roving and static patrols to help safeguard employees, visitors, facilities, and company assets.
• Monitor designated checkpoints and maintain compliance with established safety and security procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and potential security concerns.
• Serve as a professional point of contact with law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel when required.
• Perform access control responsibilities, including badge verification, visitor processing, and monitoring building entry points.
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance in accordance with uniform and grooming standards.
• Demonstrate strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and attention to detail throughout each shift.
• Complete accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports, logs, and daily activity documentation.
• Communicate effectively with fellow Security Officers, supervisors, and the Security Lead to ensure operational awareness and continuity.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. Qualifications & Skills
• Valid (Active) North Carolina Unarmed Guard Card
• First Aid, CPR & AED Certification (Preferred)
• Prior security, law enforcement, military, or related experience is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency personnel.
• High level of situational awareness with the ability to remain calm, observant, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in incident reporting, report writing, and accurate documentation of daily activities and security events.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and conducting mobile patrols for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining professionalism and accountability at all times.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and respond effectively in fast-paced environments. Benefits
