This is not an "observe and report only" position. Our officers are expected to respond to calls for service, handle incidents professionally, enforce property rules, document activity clearly, and provide a visible, proactive security presence for the communities and properties we serve. Patrol Officers are responsible for conducting mobile and foot patrols, responding to disturbances, trespassing complaints, suspicious activity, vehicle violations, alarms, noise complaints, domestic-related calls, and other service requests as assigned by Dispatch or supervision. NC Lic #784170-GP SC Lic #3451 Responsibilities Conduct proactive patrols of assigned properties and patrol zones. Respond to calls for service in a timely and professional manner. Enforce client rules, property regulations, and applicable laws within the scope of authority. Address trespassing, disorderly conduct, suspicious activity, parking issues, disturbances, and other incidents. Prepare clear, accurate, and professional incident reports and daily activity reports. Maintain radio communication with Dispatch and supervisors. Work with local law enforcement, fire, EMS, and property management when appropriate. Maintain a professional uniform appearance and command presence. Safely operate patrol vehicles and assigned equipment. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must be able to stand, walk, patrol, and respond to incidents during assigned shifts. Must be able to communicate clearly by radio, phone, and written report. Must be dependable, professional, and able to work with limited supervision. Must be able to obtain required company certifications, including but not limited to TASER, OC, baton, CPR/AED, and any other assignment-specific training. Preferred Qualifications Current PPSB registration. SLED registration or eligibility. Prior law enforcement, military, or hands-on security experience. Report writing experience. Prior patrol, HOA, apartment community, hotel, retail, or property security experience preferred. Schedule This position follows a 12 hour Panama 2-2-3 schedule, which provides a rotating patrol schedule with set long and short weeks. Applicants must be available to work assigned days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required. What We Offer Uniforms, equipment, and training provided.
