We pride ourselves on delivering professional, discreet, and high-caliber security solutions to some of the most prestigious properties in the region. We are currently expanding our team and seeking dependable, professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our growing network of independent contractors. What You'll Do Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle Monitor surveillance and alarm systems Control facility access and verify identification Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents Write incident reports and maintain accurate daily logs Deliver courteous, professional service consistent with a luxury environment Support law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed Requirements Minimum 18 years of age; U.S. citizen or lawful resident Clean criminal history and good moral character per PPSB standards Completion of 16 hours of PPSB-approved unarmed security training within 30 days of engagement (covers legal issues, emergency response, patrol techniques, and report writing) Must be registered with PPSB and maintain annual renewal Fingerprinting and background check required Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to first assignment) Preferred Experience & Skills 2+ years of experience in security, military, or law enforcement Strong communication and observation skills Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with luxury property standards Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies Flexible availability, including nights and weekends Compensation Starting at $17.00/hr — rate based on experience, certifications, and site placement This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position Flexible scheduling across multiple properties in the Charlotte metro area Opportunities for advancement into higher-tier assignments Background Check Required All applicants must pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and provide verifiable work history and references prior to placement.
