you will be responsible for ensuring our clients and their property are safe and secure. We are not looking for people that want to sit at a desk. Our Security Officers are active in the communities they serve. This could mean helping neighbors with groceries or joining in with local youth during a sports game. We want people at

to be part of the community they are serving! We are seeking professional security officers who are currently registered as Armed Officers with the NC Private Protective Services Board for long-term contracts with fixed schedules. Job Responsibilities

• Maintains safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; discouraging trespassers
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and posture at all times
• Respond to disturbances as well as observe, report, document, and take action as directed
• Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the Director of Security Skills/Qualifications
• Active Unarmed NC PPSB Security Officer Certification

• Must own individual firearm

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (days, evenings, nights) required
• 2+ Years Customer Service Experience Required
• Military, Security and/or Law Enforcement experience preferred
• Current, valid Driver's License with reliable transportation required
• U.S. citizen, able to read, write, and fluently speak English required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal required
• Conflict resolution experience preferred
• Favorable background investigation with both local and state law enforcement agencies required
• Proven and documented record of past employment reliability required
• Adequate physical fitness with the ability to constantly stand on your feet, and maintain mental focus and awareness of surroundings during assigned shifts required
• Ability to stand for 8 hours
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds as needed
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required; some experience in the field or in a related area preferred
• MUST have a working cell phone and number
• MUST be able to receive assignments by email

Preferred Qualifications :

• 1 year or more in Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement a plus
• Conflict resolution experience preferred
• Experience in Verbal Judo and De-escalation
• Willingness to go above-and-beyond for our clients
