Responsibilities Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to identify suspicious activity or security breaches Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary Conduct routine patrols of the facility to ensure safety protocols are followed and assets are protected Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations through shift reports and incident documentation Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting concerns accordingly Support first aid procedures when needed, providing basic assistance until professional help arrives Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and experience with conflict management techniques Strong observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors Physical ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during shifts Join us as an Unarmed Security Officer and become a key part of our mission to ensure safety while delivering exceptional service.
